About Lane
Lane, also known as “LT”, is a musician, author, and playwright who lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina. He is loved by many but often regarded as a trouble-making worm, skilled waffle maker, and cat psychiatrist. His first CD release, “Tokyo Belle”, was produced by five-time Grammy winner, Bruce Swedien, earned Lane CD Baby’s Top Pick of the Month, and was featured on NPR radio. His second CD flopped so he won’t mention it here. Lane has been a member of some of the finest funk bands, including The Freeflow Band, Information Network, Royal Groove, and Amos Jackson and The Mixx. In the 80s and 90s, Lane performed with Hot Sauce, Nightbeat, and the Tyme Band.
